What Do I Mean By Misunderstandings?

Imagine playing a board game with the wrong rulebook - it's no wonder it feels hard and confusing.

Instead of learning new strategies to “win” the game, what if you simply started questioning the rules you’ve unknowingly been playing by?

These misunderstandings about the game (or in your case, anxiety) are what's fuelling your current struggles.

For example lots of people who are experiencing anxiety believe that anxiety is bad and something to be avoided.

When you play the game of life with this rule in place, often the result looks like...

...worrying about getting anxious, avoiding things because you've experienced anxiety in those situations in the past, constantly scanning for problems, uncontrollable worrying (even about little things), seeking reassurance, fighting your thoughts, catastrophising and endless intrusive thoughts.

If this feels familiar, it makes total sense why life feels so exhausting and limiting. And it's not because you're broken. It's the rules you've been playing by. But no one tells us this. Instead we're told to manage and cope with all these experiences.

As soon as you join, you'll get access to a private members area with short video resources that offer fresh insights and a new way of relating to anxiety - gently supporting real change from the inside out.

You’ll have 8 private sessions with me over 3 months. These 1:1 calls give us space to explore what’s coming up for you, uncover new perspectives and move at a pace that feels right.

Hi there, I'm Paul - I used to really struggle with anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, constant worry and be exhausted with how hard life seemed.

It breaks my heart that so many people are struggling with anxiety and being sold quick-fixes that don't actually work. We're taught to manage the symptoms and cope as best we can, but I wanted so much more for myself and now, knowing it IS possible, I want to share what I've learned with you.
